Lee served his articles at KPMG Inc. in Johannesburg and qualified as a chartered accountant in January 2005. Within his time at KPMG, he was seconded to the motor capital of Detroit Michigan for six months, where he gained invaluable experience on a range of clients. Post KPMG, Lee worked in the banking environment in London for multinationals Credit Suisse and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Upon returning to South Africa in 2008, Lee took over the firm, then called Bryan Ferreira and Company, and has, with the help of Brett Kaye, built BRF & Co. to what it is today.

Lee is a passionate Springbok supporter and enjoys running and cycling in his spare time.



Brett joined BRF and Co in 2010, moving from his previous role as financial director and founding shareholder of a start-up power company. He performed his articles at KPMG in Johannesburg and has been a CA (SA) since 2005. He also spent some time at the New Jersey office of KPMG in the United States.

Brett’s main focus is the provision of audit and tax services to BRF’s varied client base, and has a passion for growing the firms offerings of tax and advisory services.

Brett is registered with SAICA and IRBA and enjoys long distance running and golf in his spare time.
